Last month, I froze my gym membership to try out some new classes around NYC! Here are some of my favorites:
Come here for an awesome booty workout! P.Volve is a low impact class that tones muscles with small, super targeted movements. You’ll use the special P.Volve equipment including ankle weights, gliders and their special p.ball and bands.
High-intensity, full body workout using resistance bands to build muscle and tone (similar to a pilates reformer machine). Core workouts will have you feeling the burn during and for a few days after class!
High-intensity, fun workout! The music and atmosphere at Rumble will get your body moving! A combination of high intensity interval training, weight training, and boxing – you’ll get the ultimate full body workout at one 45 minute class.
I love starting my day with a yoga class! Vinyasa classes at Yogaworks start slow and quickly become more intense to wake your body up and start your day.
I absolutely HATE running, but surprisingly loved the gamified workout here! You’ll be so distracted with trying to hit the orange zone you won’t even realize you’re on a treadmill. Throughout class you’ll wear a heart rate monitor to track your progress as you move through a combination of cardio, rowing and weight training circuits.
