Countryside Escape At Hacienda San Rafael

Hacienda San Rafael

Countryside Escape Earlier this week I shared my first post from our trip to Spain and I’m back again with another one! When planning out where to stay, we went back and forth a few times. Initially, we were going to stay in Malaga (where we flew in), but when we realized that the drive to Seville wasn’t too far, we started looking around there. My friend Rose visited last year and stayed in the most beautiful boutique hotel that has unfortunately taken this year off. I wanted to find something that still had that intimate feel, which is when I stumbled upon Hacienda San Rafael. Located about 35 minutes outside of Seville in the Andalusia hills, this cozy eighteenth-century hacienda is filled with charm and character. It was one of those places that, even though there are other guests around, it feels more like a home than a hotel. These are the types of places we’re always seeking out when we travel!Outfit Details:

We arrived around 9 am and decided to have breakfast in the courtyard until our room was ready. Sitting under a heavenly magenta pink bush of bougainvillea, we warmed up under the Spanish sunshine and planned out our day to visit one of the pueblos Blancos nearby, which I shared in this post.Outfit Details:

The sun rose at 7 am and didn’t set until close to 10 pm, so our days were long and filled with beautiful light. We’re never ones to tire while there’s still daylight, so we made the most of each day. In the mornings, we would sit and have breakfast on our patio and then head to the pool for some r&r. It’s not that often that we get to take a break, but these few days in Spain were meant for that! I think this was the most time I’ve spent in a swimsuit in forever and lived in either one of my Monday swimwear pieces when we were at the pool. They also just launched the most beautiful sky blue collection that I’m thinking I need for the rest of summer.
