First off, this recipe has camu camu in it. What is camu camu?
Camu camu is a shrub that grows in swampy or flooded areas of the Amazon rain forests of Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, and Colombia. The fruit and leaves are used as a medicine. Camu camu has 10x the amount of vitamin C than 1 orange.
Camu camu has no added sugars and has a cherry-like flavor. This immunity smoothie is the perfect remedy for a cold! Even if you don’t have a cold, it’s incredibly refreshing! Check it out!
Immunity Smoothie Recipe INGREDIENTS:
- 8oz of almond milk
- 1 tsp camu camu
- 1 tbsp Gogi berries
- 1/2 Orange
- 1/3 cup of frozen strawberries
- 1 mango
- 2-3 ice cubes
*Blend in that order and enjoy!
